Remote control encoder, 2.4V to 12V supply voltage, 2uA standby current, 3kHz system frequency, 150uA operating current, 1.6mA output drive current, 1.5M pull high resistance, -20 to +75°C, 18-DIP case, they are capable of encoding information which consists of 8-address bits and 4-data bits (HT12A), or 8-address bits and either 4 further address/data bits (HT12E), each address/data input can be set to one of the two logic states, the programmed addresses/data are transmitted together with the header bits via an RF or an infrared transmission medium upon receipt of a trigger signal, designed for remote control system applications.
